The Intrepid Sirius is recommended for higher horsepower applications or a heavier driver because it utilizes more 32mm tubing compared to the Cruiser which is an all 30mm chassis. The 2009 Sirius chassis comes equipped with both steel and nylon synthetic torsion bars for fine chassis tuning. The Sirius chassis has a 30 / 32 mm geometric tubing diameter and new solutions such as the axle bearings’ supports and new SH2 spindles which increase the balance between front and rear part.

The newly designed brakes are superior to all previous models.
The Sirius comes equipped with a hi performance brake system under new homologation R1, R2 and FRM.R1.

This new generation brake systems has a mono-block brake caliper with radial support, floating discs and brake pumps for oil recovery.
